Johanna ter Meulen and Samuel van Houten were both very important as pioneers For the Dutch Social Work. Ter Meulen was the first female who got paid for a ‘social’ job and wanted better living conditions for everyone. Van Houten was responsible for a few important laws, like making labour for children under 12 prohibited. These two infographics show a few of those things they did.
